Your L01 buoy off the Scotian Shelf has been a godsend for myself and hundreds of fishermen who fish this very lucrative area. There have been numerous times we have stayed ashore, because after checking "the buoy", we instantly knew it would be too dangerous a venture. Conversely there have been times when the conditions were unfavorable on land, but after checking the buoy, we knew it would be tolerable on our fishing grounds. To close I would like to thank you all for your efforts, and I would like you to know that information you are providing us not only aids us in our work, it almost certainly has saved lives.
